Caring Canines Therapy Dog Program

The Caring Canines Program offers trained, therapeutic dogs to anyone attending Juvenile court. The canines provide comfort to the court-involve children, families, staff and others, helping overcome the anxiety of being in court. The dogs and their handlers are present in certain dependency court hearings as well as in the child-friendly room and juvenile wing. The presence of the canines helps create a less stressful and more enjoyable experience for the everyone.
